The wind increased when Pedrão Leal made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro Largo Fútbol Club's zone, Luan Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Brasil came out of the goal and Luan Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Simão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amauri Neves. PapaXota's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cesinha Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Viana in the 88th minute. During the 88th minute of the match Gildo da Cunha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gildo da Cunha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cerro Largo Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gildo da Cunha hit a great ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind PapaXota's goalkeeper Amauri Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded PapaXota left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cerro Largo Fútbol Club.
