The supporters of Mirary booed when Ouricana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mathias Brito came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Mirary fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Miranda got free with Cacá Guimarães in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Gildo Valladares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cacá Guimarães was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
