Raí Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, Raí Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorginho Damião, 4-0. Flavinho Maciel made a great header on Calabar's corner, it was just that Pimentinha FC's Jorginho Damião managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Pimentinha FC booed when Calabar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The referee showed Mané Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mané Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jorginho Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Cunha in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Raí Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Zé Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorginho Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Cunha in the 85th minute of the match. Raí Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calabar's Enrique Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raí Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Damião having to interfere. There was no doubt that Calabar were the better team. Calabar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
