Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norberto Meireles kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Ouricana FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Palmeira. After a defensive mix-up in Ouricana FC's zone, Juan Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Guimarães came out of the goal and Juan Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Norberto Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Ouricana FC's Norberto Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willian Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dedê Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Percival das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cupe SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival das Neves couldn't finish the play. In the 25thth minute of the game Percival das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ouricana FC's Cacá Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cupe SC booed when Ouricana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Juan Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cacá Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. Dedê Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Guimarães having to interfere. Percival das Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cacá Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Percival das Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. Cacá Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedê Porto went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Percival das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cupe SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Willian Santos, was totally fooled by Ouricana FC's Cleiton Campidelis, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Cupe SC booed when Ouricana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá Guimarães came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Cupe SC's Percival das Neves. But to his dismay, Percival das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Norberto Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Santos having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Ouricana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Porto came free, but Cacá Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cupe SC's zone, Teodoro Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Santos came out of the goal and Teodoro Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Tepedino hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
