After a rather tough play, Cupe SC's Hortêncio Tepedino got a free kick in the 4th minute. A hard shot by Gildo Valladares from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Willian Santos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 5th match minute, Cupe SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Tande to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Miranda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Willian Santos came out and tried to block the shot, but André Luís Miranda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 10th play minute Juninho de Medeiros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Willian Santos. 2-0. Cido Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mirary getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cido Barros hit a great ball. Dedê Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Santos having to interfere. Dedê Porto scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elivélton Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes in the game, André Luís Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Willian Santos having to interfere. Cupe SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Juninho de Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Willian Santos, making the score, 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
The supporters of Mirary booed when Cupe SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildo Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, André Luís Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Willian Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Miranda in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cupe SC's Renato Coutinho got a free kick in the 59th minute. Willian Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Miranda went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. André Luís Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Santos having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Cupe SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Willian Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, André Luís Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mirary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Willian Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Miranda in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Porto got free with Elivélton Magalhães in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willian Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Brito in the 80th minute of play. When André Luís Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mirary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Miranda couldn't finish the play. Mathias Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Santos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Miranda in the 85th minute of play forced Cupe SC's goalkeeper Willian Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When André Luís Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirary's protests and gave André Luís Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. André Luís Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. André Luís Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Willian Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Mirary were the better team. Mirary's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
