Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Danilo Lago started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as SóCanelas's Vicente Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edu Ferreira. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Danilo Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubinho Salgado. SóCanelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andirobal's goalkeeper Edu Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edu Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Aparecido in the 14th minute of the match. When Durvalino Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SóCanelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durvalino Aparecido couldn't finish the play. Edu Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Danilo Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubinho Salgado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Aparecido in the 35th minute of play forced Andirobal's goalkeeper Edu Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Andirobal's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Gonçalves came free, but Edu Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Andirobal's zone, Charles Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edu Ferreira came out of the goal and Charles Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SóCanelas getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diamantino Damião hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Paulo José Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubinho Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vitinho Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edu Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Gonçalves to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Vitinho Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edu Ferreira was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 53 minutes of play, Andirobal's Válter Batista made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitinho Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Edu Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Durvalino Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Edu Ferreira. Andirobal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 66th minute Durvalino Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Andirobal defense, Vitinho Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edu Ferreira. The Andirobal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Ferreira should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Andirobal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Lago to maneuver through the defense. Edu Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Edu Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edu Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitinho Porto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute Danilo Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Durvalino Aparecido made it 5-3 with a short kick to the right side. Andirobal's Edu Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SóCanelas had played much better football throughout.
