In the 5th match minute, Zaion F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 周奕树 in the 10th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Luís Fernando Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zaion F.C.'s Rafael Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zaion F.C.'s Rafael Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 周奕树 in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Medeiros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafael Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by 周奕树 in the 15th minute of play forced Zaion F.C.'s goalkeeper Rafael Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matheus Gaspar during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zaion F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Matheus Gaspar hit a great ball. Luís Fernando Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Souto having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Medeiros in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Souto saved Zaion F.C. from getting behind. After some careless play in the Zaion F.C. defense, Gualter Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Souto. The Zaion F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Souto should have stopped the shot. Rafael Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Medeiros in the 31st minute of the match. Seriema AD's 周奕树 got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fernando Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dadá Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luís Fernando Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Seriema AD played a much better game than Zaion F.C. and deserved their victory. The Zaion F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
