But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Hermínio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Mosby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Dante to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Donatello struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hamílton Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urai AD. Mosby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urai AD the free kick. Caco Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Mosby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
