The referee ignored Intersteam's protests and gave Wanderson Maia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Intersteam getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Wanderson Maia hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Dagoberto Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes Mosby FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Tepedino. Dagoberto Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Pedro Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Intersteam defense, Caco Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Dionísio. The Intersteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Dionísio should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fabiano Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamílton Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Maia in the 27th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Matorin in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hamílton Pitta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 35 minutes into the game, Wágner Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mosby FC's Hamílton Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Maia in the 57th minute of play. Hamílton Pitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Intersteam getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zé Roberto Leão hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Dagoberto Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
