The supporters of Itaberai FC booed when z-dois fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Chistovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Anísio de Barros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 24 played minutes z-dois fc got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Rossi. After having played for 27 minutes, Amílton Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaberai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos do Nascimento having to interfere. Zé Carlos do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
