With a little luck, Los Más FC's Abelardo Araújo got control of the ball when Anísio de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Más FC's Abelardo Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Los Más FC from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes of play, Itaberai FC's Dadá Vasconcelos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Sousa came out of the goal and Leonardo de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dadá Vasconcelos put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Araújo. Los Más FC's Abelardo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Vasconcelos in the 70th minute of play. Dráusio Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dadá Vasconcelos in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Los Más FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio de Barros came free, but Abelardo Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itaberai FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
