In the 3rd match minute, Viadutos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Mané do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Edmílson Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viadutos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílton Teixeira was a little too slow when Mané do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Walmir Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Macedo in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes in the game, Mané do Valle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amílton Teixeira having to interfere. With 29 minutes on the clock, Chiquinho Dantas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, one of Conta Encerrada Por Odair:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conta Encerrada Por Odair. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Viadutos FC's Anísio Linhares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amílton Teixeira. Conta Encerrada Por Odair's Amílton Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Conta Encerrada Por Odair from getting a goal against them. Mané do Valles short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Amílton Teixeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 44 played minutes Conta Encerrada Por Odair got a freekick which was hit by Renan Mineiro. Conta Encerrada Por Odair's Amílton Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Conta Encerrada Por Odair from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané do Valle to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Vergílio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Viadutos FC booed when Conta Encerrada Por Odair was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 61stth minute of the game Mané do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conta Encerrada Por Odair's Amílton Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané do Valle in the 65th minute of play forced Conta Encerrada Por Odair's goalkeeper Amílton Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Luiz Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luiz Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viadutos FC's goalkeeper Walmir Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute Mané do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viadutos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Conta Encerrada Por Odair for a fine match.
