Emílio Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Sidnei Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Más FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Piauiense the free kick. Sidnei Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo de Toledo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Macedo saved River Piauiense from getting behind. Emílio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Jailson de Almeida notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of River Piauiense's Emílio Macedo. Emílio Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The River Piauiense players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
