Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Vasconcelos took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio de Barros got free with Edgard Jayvier in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarcisio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Dadá Vasconcelos from a close distance when the talented Edgard Jayvier managed to make a qualified save. Pequizeiro's players were relieved. Edgard Jayvier made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Anísio de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Itaberai FC's Dalmo Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Krovina in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Pequizeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Pequizeiro's Edgard Jayvier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Pequizeiro from getting a goal against them. Edgard Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Vasconcelos in the 38th minute of the match. Edgard Jayvier made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dadá Vasconcelos sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Krovina to make the kick off. When Itaberai FC's Dadá Vasconcelos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pequizeiro's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamim Moreira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itaberai FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Pequizeiro. José Carlos de Godoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dalmo Sousa. 0-1. 69 minutes into the game, Anísio de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edgard Jayvier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Krovina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Sousa having to interfere. Dráusio Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcisio Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Jayvier went to the wrong direction when Raí Esteves was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Anísio de Barros hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Edgard Jayvier came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaberai FC's Amílton Godoi. But to his dismay, Amílton Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pequizeiro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itaberai FC.
