The Teresina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Egídio de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TemporariamenteAbandonado's Jorge Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Pirani in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, TemporariamenteAbandonado's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio de Souza came free, but Jorge Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Pirani went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavinho Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Teresina FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Sabóia could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Jorge Bastos however easily saved by the left post. The TemporariamenteAbandonado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Teresina FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
