After a defensive mix-up in Coyotes FC's zone, Amílton Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Vergílio came out of the goal and Amílton Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chiquinho Andrade's late challenge caught a Coyotes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chiquinho Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Silas de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silas de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Coyotes FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Vidal. 36 minutes into the game, Dino Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eliseu Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Eliseu Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dino Velloso sent off a good shot on target. Dino Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Vasconcelos having to interfere. Erasmo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Sousa in the 63rd minute of play. Dino Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eliseu Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Itapiruçu's Eliseu Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Dino Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Vergílio came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapiruçu's Amílton Rocha. But to his dismay, Amílton Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coyotes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
