TemporariamenteAbandonado's Zé Carlos Arruda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dito Diniz in the 6 minute of the game. After having played for 13 minutes, Dorian Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TemporariamenteAbandonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to TemporariamenteAbandonado getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zé Carlos Arruda hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s Ronaldão Ramalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Bastos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Só o Pó F.C. reached it. In the 25th play minute Tostão Gaspar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Bastos. 1-0. Jorge Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Pitta in the 29th minute of the match. Jorge Bastos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tostão Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Queiroz in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Tostão Gaspar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of TemporariamenteAbandonado's Jorge Bastos. Jorge Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Pitta got free with Jorge Bastos in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Tostão Gaspar made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Bastos. TemporariamenteAbandonado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorian Lopes was the one to do the kick off. When Luís Paulo de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Paulo de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Gaspar in the 59th minute of play forced TemporariamenteAbandonado's goalkeeper Jorge Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s André Luís Pitta made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tostão Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Luís Paulo de Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Bastos. TemporariamenteAbandonado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Tostão Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Filipe Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Só o Pó F.C. and the TemporariamenteAbandonado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes C.A. Só o Pó F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Leão. After a rather tough play, TemporariamenteAbandonado's Renatinho de Mendonça got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TemporariamenteAbandonado's zone, Tostão Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Bastos came out of the goal and Tostão Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Tostão Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, TemporariamenteAbandonado's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Gaspar came free, but Jorge Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, TemporariamenteAbandonado's Benjamim Saraiva got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ronaldão Ramalho, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.A. Só o Pó F.C. had played much better football throughout.
