A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Montana EC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Guedes came free, but Carlos Alberto Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Anderson Guedes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montana EC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anderson Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Edgard Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montana EC's Carlos Alberto Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montana EC's zone, Eliseu de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Neves came out of the goal and Eliseu de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Toledos had won after a very even match.
