Ernesto Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Breckenfeld in the 18th minute. Uari AD's Arnaldo Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Guedes in the 19th minute of play. Arnaldo Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Brito was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and André Luiz Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Luiz Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Ceresso in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Edgard Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Passos having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Uari AD got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho de Brito. Anderson Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Passos having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Anderson Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Toledos's Anderson Guedes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toledos's goalkeeper Ernesto Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Eliseu de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toledos and the Uari AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Toledos got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu de Mendonça. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Guedes in the 62nd minute of play forced Uari AD's goalkeeper Arnaldo Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arnaldo Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Anderson Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uari AD's Arnaldo Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Almir Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uari AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toledos the free kick. After 74 played minutes Uari AD got a freekick which was hit by Almir Melo. When Edgard Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Toledos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Ceresso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Uari AD booed when Toledos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luiz Castro struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ernesto Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uari AD.
