Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duarte Vander took the kick off in the first half of the match. The nice shot from Edgard Ceresso in the 5thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rodolfo Medeiros had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 7th minute Alexsandro Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgard Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Vander's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Ernesto Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Cerezo in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Vander in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Brito saved Toledos from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Toledos got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu de Mendonça. 19 minutes into the match, Pontale's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Ceresso came free, but Rodolfo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pontale booed when Toledos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernesto Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pontale's Alexsandro Meirelles got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rodolfo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Guedes in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Pontale's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Guedes came free, but Rodolfo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Ceresso made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 34thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rodolfo Medeiros would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Duarte Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pontale getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alexsandro Meirelles hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Edgard Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anderson Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pontale's Rodolfo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Guedes in the 55th minute of play. Ernesto Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Vander in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Pontale's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu de Mendonça came free, but Rodolfo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Toledos's goalkeeper Ernesto Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Duarte Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Pontale defense, Eliseu de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Medeiros. The Pontale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pontale booed when Toledos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Percy Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pontale's Duarte Vander in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toledos's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pontale's Alexsandro Meirelles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Brito. That made the score 2-1 after 82 minutes of play. After 86th play minutes Duarte Vander shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Ernesto Brito and just under the crossbar into goal. 90 minutes into the match, Franklin Travassos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Brito, 2-3. Rodolfo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Pontale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
