Geovanni Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Doriva da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva da Silva couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Doriva da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Doriva da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Baltazar Peres walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Enio Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Enio Bertassi came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by CR Ryzers's Danilo Vieira. But to his dismay, Danilo Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 81st minute, Pedro Luís Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Enio Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CR Ryzers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nacional for a fine match.
