Beto Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Passos having to interfere. Beto Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arnaldo Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joélson Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arnaldo Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Montana EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Zanette got free with Arnaldo Passos in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Arnaldo Passos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Nóbrega went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute Joélson Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montana EC's Beto Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uari AD's André Luiz Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Zanette in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Uari AD's Carlos Alberto Neves threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Luiz Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erasmo Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Zanette in the 77th minute of play forced Uari AD's goalkeeper Arnaldo Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Beto Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uari AD's Arnaldo Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Zanette in the 82nd minute of play. Beto Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Uari AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Melo to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Beto Zanette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Arnaldo Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montana EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uari AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
