Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Igor Nunes got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Godoi in the 5th minute of play forced Mattinha's goalkeeper Gabriel Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Marcos Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Us Caras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Igor Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredão Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alfredão Paiva made a huge save. Mattinha's Róbson Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Arlindo Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Flávio Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Róbson Catarinense took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Paiva. Alfredão Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 47 minutes, Igor Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marcos Godoi made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Us Caras FC's Silvinho Pires got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Mattinha's Igor Nunes in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Us Caras FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Us Caras FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marcos Godoi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Igor Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Paiva was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Nunes in the 63rd minute of play forced Us Caras FC's goalkeeper Alfredão Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Nunes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredão Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Gabriel Luz notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Us Caras FC's Alfredão Paiva. Alfredão Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Us Caras FC's Marcos Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Mattinha were the better team. Mattinha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
