When Marcos Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Us Caras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Godoi couldn't finish the play. Alfredão Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Sá in the 16th minute of play. Diogo Duarte made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bernardo Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, COLORADO FC's Diogo Duarte got control of the ball when Bernardo Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Duarte having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Bernardo Sampaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Toninho de Barros's late challenge caught a Us Caras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes COLORADO FC got a freekick which was hit by Toninho de Barros. Toninho de Barros was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 33rd minute, Toninho de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernardo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breno Sá was the one to do the kick off. Breno Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Paiva having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Enéas Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enéas Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alfredão Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Godoi took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Duarte. Diogo Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bernardo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Ramos struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alfredão Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLORADO FC. Arlindo Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Us Caras FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
