But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Moraes couldn't finish the play. Fernandinho Bueno made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Charles Moraes sent off a good shot on target. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastião Britto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernandinho Bueno made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Charles Moraes sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Mattos. Charles Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Bueno having to interfere. Alberto Prado struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sebastião Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. If Sílvio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alberto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Prado in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Britto saved SÓ TEIMOSOS FC from getting behind. Alberto Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SÓ TEIMOSOS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. SÓ TEIMOSOS FC's Gilson da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sebastião Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Gilson da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's Fernandinho Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Moraes came free, but Fernandinho Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, SÓ TEIMOSOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Brodel came free, but Sebastião Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Britto made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alberto Prado sent off a good shot on target. If Charles Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sílvio Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SÓ TEIMOSOS FC's Sebastião Britto got control of the ball when Alberto Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastião Britto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabiano Tróia. If Raí Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SÓ TEIMOSOS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal FC.
