Toninho de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to COLORADO FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Toninho de Barros hit a great ball. Toninho de Barros was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Toninho de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Sá came free, but Fernandinho Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Bueno having to interfere. Alberto Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Proença. Raí Soares missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 34 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fernandinho Bueno right hand side. If Alberto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Prado could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Diogo Duarte however easily saved by the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Sílvio Brodel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diogo Duarte. Sílvio Brodel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Breno Sá made the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Duarte having to interfere. Alberto Prado took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Duarte. Diogo Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sílvio Brodel struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Diogo Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. Diogo Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when COLORADO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedro Paulo Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of COLORADO FC booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes COLORADO FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos de Castro. Diogo Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Raí Soares hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, COLORADO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Prado came free, but Diogo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Duarte having to interfere. Arsenal FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
