After having played for 15 minutes, Gabriel Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breno Sá's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Freire firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Arantes struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Diogo Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattinha. Igor Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Diogo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cláudio Arantes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Igor Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. COLORADO FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Mattinha for much of the match.
