Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Spencer Hopson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Gifters Predations got a freekick which was hit by Jardel da Costa. Eusébio de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Santana in the 9th minute of play. Eusébio de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Santana's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Mané Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gifters Predations's Spencer Hopson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Garuva SC got a freekick which was hit by Simão de Senna. Eusébio de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel da Costa went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jardel da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eusébio de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Gifters Predations got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Koehler. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Linares was the one to do the kick off. When Ricardinho Santana came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gifters Predations fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Santana couldn't finish the play. Amílton Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gifters Predations made a substitution. Célio Borges replaced Gilvan Queiroz. Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Borges in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Garuva SC booed when Gifters Predations was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Braga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Spencer Hopson firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Ricardinho Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Borges went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eleuterio Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Simão de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Benet hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eusébio de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Célio Borges's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Eusébio de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Borges in the 94th minute of play. Garuva SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
