The BALAVENUTO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Tomás de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eusébio de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alexandre de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the BALAVENUTO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre de Barros couldn't finish the play. Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Alcântara in the 23rd minute of play. Eusébio de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Palmeira in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, BALAVENUTO FC's Jefferson de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jefferson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Germano Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Palmeira in the 36th minute of play forced Garuva SC's goalkeeper Eusébio de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson de Alcântara made a kick off. A collision led to Garuva SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Augusto de Mendonça hit a great ball. Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás de Andrade in the 59th minute of play. Eusébio de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson de Alcântara in the 60th minute. In the 61st play minute Amadeu da Rocha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eusébio de Amorim. 0-5. Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Alcântara in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Garuva SC's goalkeeper Eusébio de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu da Rocha. 66 minutes into the game, Denílson Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garuva SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BALAVENUTO FC the free kick. Denílson Medeiros hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A hard shot 68 in the game by Jefferson de Alcântara from a close distance when the talented Eusébio de Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Garuva SC's players were relieved. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garuva SC's goalkeeper Eusébio de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre de Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre de Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garuva SC's goalkeeper Eusébio de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jefferson de Alcântara scored 0-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Garuva SC's zone, Amadeu da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio de Amorim came out of the goal and Amadeu da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio de Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Germano Pena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. Eusébio de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson de Alcântara went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Eusébio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Garuva SC from getting a goal against them. BALAVENUTO FC played a much better game than Garuva SC and deserved their victory. The Garuva SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
