A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Kiko Maciel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Medeiros. Palanque futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kiko Maciel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kiko Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiko Maciel to make the kick off. falcão's Ruy Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Passos in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, falcão's Igor Eger got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Velloso in the 71st minute of play forced falcão's goalkeeper Ruy Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Fábio Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes falcão got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Rezende. If Armando Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Valério Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Dedé Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Palanque futebol defense, Valério Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Medeiros. The Palanque futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Medeiros should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Armando Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Palanque futebol's goalkeeper Ramiro Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Carvalho. Armando Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. falcão were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Palanque futebol's much stronger midfield.
