Rafael de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kléberson Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luís Vasconcelos scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juan Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capybara SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Luís Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Capybara SS got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Cerezo. André Luís Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute Cafu Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Fabio Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Orlando Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Fabio Futebol Clube's Edmundo Santana getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half Fabio Futebol Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cafu Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Capybara SS's zone, André Luís Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Toledo came out of the goal and André Luís Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cafu Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Toledo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. André Luís Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Toledo made a huge save. André Luís Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafael de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Bertassi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Fabio Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 84 played minutes Capybara SS got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cosme. If André Luís Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Leme having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Capybara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Bertassi came free, but Pedro Augusto Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Toledo made a huge save. Fabio Futebol Clube played a much better game than Capybara SS and deserved their victory. The Capybara SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
