After 67 minutes of play, Ameliopolis's Serafim Mesquita made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ameliopolis's Gilberto Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ameliopolis from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovanni Abreu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, José Maria Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ameliopolis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
