He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Tornado FC's Bruninho Vinhas got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Glacial F.C.'s Júnior Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulinho Freitas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glacial F.C. reached it. Dedé Rosado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulinho Freitas having to make a save. In the 22nd match minute, Tornado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Roger Salles, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dedé Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmílson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Lima having to interfere. Tornado FC's Ulysses Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulysses Estevess short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Roberto de Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Edmílson Barbosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto de Lima, 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Glacial F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Barbosa came free, but Roberto de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ulysses Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Tornado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Esteves couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edmílson Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Esteves struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Roberto de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tornado FC. After having played for 55 minutes, Edmílson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tornado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedé Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulinho Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Erik Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Freitas having to interfere. If Dedé Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Bruninho Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Freitas having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Edmílson Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tornado FC and the Glacial F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Tornado FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Barbosa. A hard shot by Roger Salles from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Paulinho Freitas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glacial F.C.'s goalkeeper Roberto de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tornado FC's Ulysses Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paulinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedé Rosado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Rosado in the 91st minute of play forced Tornado FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tornado FC's Edmílson Barbosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Edmílson Barbosa off the ground. Erik Alvarenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Paulinho Freitas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulinho Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Rosado in the 95th minute of play. Vinícius Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Tornado FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
