A collision led to Glacial F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cristiano de Castro hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, José Maria Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kléber Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Lima having to interfere. The supporters of Glacial F.C. booed when Pinhaozeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Salles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Pinhaozeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Rosado came free, but Joel Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Erik Alvarenga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Pinhaozeiro got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Senna. The wind increased when José Maria Brito made the kick off in the second half. Dedé Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Erik Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Magalhães having to interfere. Luciano Antunes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Roberto de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhaozeiro. In the 63rd minute, Pinhaozeiro's Tomás Terra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto de Lima. Roberto de Lima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. José Maria Brito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto de Lima came out and tried to block the shot, but José Maria Brito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. Erik Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joel Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute, Vinícius Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
