After having played for 19 minutes, Raúl Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Volares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fidalga's zone, Adilson Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Dias came out of the goal and Adilson Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Dias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fidalga's zone, Raúl Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Dias came out of the goal and Raúl Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Nunes in the 28th minute of play forced Fidalga's goalkeeper Wiliam Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fidalga getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Celso Tande hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Carlos Augusto Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Volares's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Augusto Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Raúl Ceresso put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wiliam Dias. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jacinto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Volares's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, AFC Volares's Raúl Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiliam Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raúl Ceresso to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Ceresso in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raúl Ceresso in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Dias saved Fidalga from getting behind. Jacinto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Dias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fidalga's zone, Falcão Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Dias came out of the goal and Falcão Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Dias having to interfere. Wiliam Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Volares. In the 94th minute, Falcão Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that AFC Volares were the better team. AFC Volares's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
