Eugênio Silveira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ameliopolis's Gilberto Fernandes got control of the ball when Ulysses Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tornado FC's Ulysses Esteves got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Natã Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Serafim Mesquita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tornado FC's Paulinho Freitas. Paulinho Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Barbosa in the 14th minute of the match. Tornado FC's Paulinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Mesquita in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Barbosa in the 18th minute of play forced Ameliopolis's goalkeeper Gilberto Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Fernandes had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmílson Barbosa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Falcão in the 21st minute of play forced Tornado FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Vinhas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Serafim Mesquita sped through Tornado FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulinho Freitas. Paulinho Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Serafim Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paulinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Vinhas during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Tornado FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Vinhas. Bruninho Vinhas hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Ameliopolis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafim Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natã Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Falcão in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Ameliopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Cardoso came free, but Gilberto Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Natã Falcão, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paulinho Freitas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Tornado FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Vinhas. Serafim Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Falcão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulinho Freitas came out and tried to block the shot, but Natã Falcão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 78th minute. Natã Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Paulinho Freitas made a huge save. Serafim Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Freitas having to interfere. Serafim Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Natã Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
