Spectators: 6880 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1475, VIP seats: 25) Manster Laion's Luizinho Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Freitas in the 3rd minute of play. Nelsinho de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Pena having to interfere. When Manster Laion's Marcus Souto in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Onca EC's goalie prevented a goal. Wesley Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Marcus Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho de Souza got free with Luizinho Pena in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelsinho de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Pena having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Zé Terra made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Vander. Onca EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Raúl Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Luizinho Pena made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Enio Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Zé Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nelsinho de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Souto made a kick off. Nelsinho de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Luizinho Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho de Souza in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Marcus Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manster Laion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Manster Laion booed when Onca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Onca EC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Reinaldo Simão hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Marcus Souto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wesley Vander, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Terra got free with Wesley Vander in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Wilson Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Pena. Manster Laion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Souto in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Marcus Souto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Enio Prado's late challenge caught a Manster Laion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enio Prado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Enio Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
