Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toninho de Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frank Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Frank Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Toninho de Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faustão Carneiro, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Frank Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 20th minute Gil do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Breja FC booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Fernandes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Eduardo Chaves. Luiz Eduardo Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Gil do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando de Queiroz in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Paranaense in the 34th minute of play forced Breja FC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gotham City's Glauco Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcinho Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Faustão Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Breja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Donato to maneuver through the defense. Breja FC's Luiz Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Rocha in the 43rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Gotham City's corner Paulo José Fernandez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Eduardo Chaves quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. In the 53rdth minute of the game Frank Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breja FC's Luiz Eduardo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Breja FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marcinho Donato hit a great ball. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Gil do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Eduardo Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Rocha's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Jorge Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Eduardo Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. When Gil do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. If Jorge Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gotham City's Frank Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luiz Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Amauri Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breja FC's protests and gave Amauri Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Breja FC's Amauri Godoi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jorge Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Gotham City's Gil do Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Gotham City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
