Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Osvaldo Nunes got the match started through his kick off. Perizes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Natã Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Sílvio Lira, making the score, 1-0. Natã Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sílvio Lira made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Sílvio Luiz Quirino sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perizes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sidnei Cavalcante was slow to take the kick. During this time Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's players had a chance to rest. If Natã Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Natã Marquez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sidnei Cavalcante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sílvio Luiz Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Luiz Quirinos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Sílvio Lira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute Joel Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Alfredo dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha and the Perizes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Perizes's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Marquez came free, but Sílvio Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã Marquez made a kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Ricardinho Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natã Marquez scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Lira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes of play, Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's Sílvio Luiz Quirino made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Perizes's Sílvio Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Marquez in the 72nd minute of play. Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's Donato da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Nunes in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's zone, Joel Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato da Costa came out of the goal and Joel Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Perizes got a freekick which was hit by Mário de Moraes. Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha's Sidnei Cavalcante couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Perizes. Perizes's Sílvio Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Marquez in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Perizes's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Quirino came free, but Sílvio Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Perizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Camargo to maneuver through the defense. When Ricardinho Camargo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 94th minute of the match Sidnei Cavalcante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Lira skillfully saved the ball. Cruzeiro de Cachoeirinha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
