In the 2nd match minute, VIEZZER F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Furtado to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Gotham City's Glauco Paranaense in action when he in the 5th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a defensive mix-up in VIEZZER F. C.'s zone, Frank Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Quadros came out of the goal and Frank Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Décio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Frank Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Rocha couldn't finish the play. Glauco Paranaense's late challenge caught a VIEZZER F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Glauco Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Bruno Coelho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Adilson Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Fernandes in the 22nd minute of play. If Frank Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, VIEZZER F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gil do Nascimento came free, but Décio Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Paranaense got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 28 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Paranaense. Léo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Carneiro having to interfere. When Gotham City's Frank Rocha in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VIEZZER F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Jorge Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Décio Quadros. VIEZZER F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Quadros having to interfere. Gil do Nascimento scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Quadros having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Rocha made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Romero in the 53rd minute of play forced Gotham City's goalkeeper Faustão Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Quadros made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jorge Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gil do Nascimento hit a great ball. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Quadros having to interfere. VIEZZER F. C.'s Décio Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save VIEZZER F. C. from getting a goal against them. Gil do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Décio Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gotham City. When Jorge Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Frank Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Décio Quadros. VIEZZER F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Gil do Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Décio Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Gil do Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 95th minute. The VIEZZER F. C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gotham City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
