In the 6th minute Luís Fabiano Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Barreto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Klose FC's zone, Toninho de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Barreto came out of the goal and Toninho de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando de Queiroz in the 16th minute of play forced Klose FC's goalkeeper Paulão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto Pombal's late challenge caught a Breja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Guto Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Fernando de Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Paulão Barreto. Klose FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A hard shot 22 in the game by Jairo Duarte from a close distance when the talented Luiz Eduardo Chaves managed to make a qualified save. Breja FC's players were relieved. Breja FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Guto Pombal scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Eduardo Chaves, making the score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Klose FC's Luiz Eduardo Chaves threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Fabiano Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Toninho de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Jairo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klose FC's Luís Fabiano Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho de Almeida made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Breja FC's Fernando de Queiroz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toninho de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Barreto having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Toninho de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klose FC's Paulão Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando de Queiroz got free with Paulão Barreto in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fabiano Toledo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Klose FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Toledo to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Klose FC's goalkeeper Paulão Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando de Queiroz. After a rather tough play, Breja FC's Marcinho Donato got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Luís Fabiano Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Breja FC! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Klose FC. Diogo Vargas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luiz Eduardo Chaves. 3-3. Luís Fabiano Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luiz Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Breja FC defense, Luís Fabiano Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Chaves. The Breja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Chaves should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Klose FC had won after a very even match.
