Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Osvaldo Nunes made the kick off and thus started the match. Luiz Eduardo Chaves came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Perizes's Osvaldo Nunes. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perizes's goalkeeper Sílvio Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Perizes's goalkeeper Sílvio Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando de Queiroz. If Fernando de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kiko Santos's late challenge caught a Perizes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Kiko Santos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes, Perizes's Mário de Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Chaves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perizes reached it. Kiko Santos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Breja FC's zone, Joel Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Chaves came out of the goal and Joel Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Perizes's Sílvio Lira got control of the ball when Fernando de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Breja FC's Luiz Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Severo in the 32nd minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Severo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 47 minutes, Kiko Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

1-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Toninho de Almeida elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sílvio Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho de Almeida in the 65th minute of play. Vitório Dantas's late challenge caught a Breja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitório Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Vitório Dantas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eduardo Chaves was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Nunes in the 85th minute of play forced Breja FC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-4 became the score in the 88th minute when Osvaldo Nunes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcinho Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
