C. booed when Vista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Décio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Durvalino de Sousa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Décio Quadros. After having played for 25 minutes, Adilson Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIEZZER F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Vista's Yuri Dionísio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Décio Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After the first half Vista were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Décio Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Arruda in the 52nd minute of the match. If Osvaldinho Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Quadros made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Juan Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Yuri Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Quadros having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Aníbal Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vista's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in VIEZZER F. C.'s zone, Juan Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Quadros came out of the goal and Juan Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Vista left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VIEZZER F. C..
