Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tiaguinho da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo Futebol Clube's protests and gave Tiaguinho da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Tiaguinho da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Batista in the 25th minute of play forced São Paulo Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Elano Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Scot McCloud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho de Mendonça was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Scot McCloud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho de Mendonça was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Cássio Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Scot McCloud managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Scot McCloud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Embirizal SS's goalkeeper Ronaldinho de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elano Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scot McCloud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Embirizal SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Baptista to maneuver through the defense. After 62nd play minutes Scot McCloud shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ronaldinho de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Manuel Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scot McCloud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Embirizal SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Cássio Hermes scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldinho de Mendonça, making the score, 0-2. Scot McClouds short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Ronaldinho de Mendonça to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Embirizal SS's Ronaldinho de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scot McCloud in the 95th minute of play. São Paulo Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
