Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Fabiano Moreno got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Baiazinha got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Galvão. In the 5th minute, Gilberto Vieira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romao SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hamílton Mendonça hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fabiano Moreno in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Neto saved Romao SC from getting behind. Kléberson Neto made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when José Paulo Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Baiazinha's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Vieira came free, but Duarte Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Valladares having to interfere. José Paulo Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Neto having to interfere. Gilberto Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Duarte Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Duarte Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Nilton Mattos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Valladares skillfully saved the ball. When Romao SC's Rafael Pinho in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baiazinha's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Vieira to make the kick off. Duarte Valladares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. 56 minutes into the game, Baiazinha's José Paulo Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléberson Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Romao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Moreno came free, but Kléberson Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gilberto Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Baiazinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Galvão to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Romao SC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Favoretto came free, but Kléberson Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Moreno in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Romao SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
