Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sidnei Vianna made the kick off which started today's match. When Iron Paradise FC's Caetano Alagoano in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ativa Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. After 3 played minutes Ativa Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Matos. Benedito Matos hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Olívio Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Azevedo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ativa Sport Club's zone, Caetano Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Dias came out of the goal and Caetano Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Azevedo in the 18th minute of play forced Ativa Sport Club's goalkeeper Olívio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Benedito Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Caetano Alagoano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ativa Sport Club's Olívio Dias. Olívio Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elói Azevedo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Dias. Olívio Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 35th minute, Ativa Sport Club's Sidnei Vianna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidney Prata. Sidney Prata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 38th minute Elói Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Elói Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ativa Sport Club's Olívio Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Caetano Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Iron Paradise FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Olívio Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Olívio Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Prado in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Caetano Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Olívio Dias made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Ativa Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Azevedo came free, but Olívio Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Elói Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Azevedo got free with Olívio Dias in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ativa Sport Club's Olívio Dias got control of the ball when Elói Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Elói Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olívio Dias. That made the score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. Elói Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Dias having to interfere. Elói Azevedo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olívio Dias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caetano Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Dias having to interfere. Dráuzio Aguiar made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cláudio Rocha. In the 82nd minute of the match Luizão Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cláudio Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Caetano Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Paradise FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olívio Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Alagoano in the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Matos during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ativa Sport Club's Benedito Matos got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Iron Paradise FC booed when Ativa Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iron Paradise FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
