In the 5th minute, Fred Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Perez was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Fabinho França capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabinho França really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Fabinho França took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Luís Perez to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Luís Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho França's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Osmar Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Perez made a huge save. If Osmar Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Betinho Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington da Silveira to make the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Osmar Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonsucesso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho França in the 60th minute of the match. Mira AD's Pedro Luís Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Teixeira in the 63rd minute of play. When Fabinho França came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bonsucesso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho França couldn't finish the play. After 69 minutes, Betinho Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mira AD and the Bonsucesso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mira AD's Betinho Zonta got a free kick in the 70th minute. Betinho Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabinho França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Perez having to interfere. Adelino de Castro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Betinho Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Fabinho França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paulão Romero fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonsucesso FC's protests and gave Paulão Romero a yellow card for diving instead. Paulão Romero hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Osmar Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Perez having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bonsucesso FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
