Erik Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Galiza C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Brasil came free, but Richard Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pyrenopolis's zone, Válter Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Guedes came out of the goal and Válter Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio Rezende received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Guedes came out and tried to block the shot, but Caio Rezende slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauan Brasil made a kick off. Júlio Paraense's late challenge caught a Pyrenopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio Paraense hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Caio Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Figueiredo scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Richard Maranhense made a huge save.
