Natal Esporte Clube:s Falcão Lago showed great skill when he stopped Basílio Figueiredo:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Desgraçados Fut Ousadura's Emanuel Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aírton Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Natal Esporte Clube's Falcão Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Maia in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Manoel Pitta from a close distance when the talented Aírton Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Desgraçados Fut Ousadura's players were relieved. Falcão Lago came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Desgraçados Fut Ousadura's Luís Paulo Maia. Aírton Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Maciel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Falcão Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Palmeira in the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Basílio Figueiredo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 65 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Luís Paulo Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Valdir Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Natal Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desgraçados Fut Ousadura the free kick.
