Spectators: 7122 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Décio Vinhas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Fabiano Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Wellington Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gionel FC booed when Tubarão ManagerZone Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gionel FC's Luiz Fabiano Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valério Pinheiro. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Jefferson Koehler came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Tubarão ManagerZone Club's Celsinho da Cunha. But to his dismay, Celsinho da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valério Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Queiroz in the 25th minute of play. Gionel FC's João Adolfo Marquez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. João Adolfo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Valério Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Adolfo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Gionel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho da Cunha came free, but Jefferson Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fabiano Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Valério Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. João Adolfo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Valério Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Pinheiro having to make a save. Valério Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Marquez in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Décio Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tubarão ManagerZone Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Tubarão ManagerZone Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gionel FC:s goal. The referee gave Gionel FC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Orlando Ferreira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tubarão ManagerZone Club's Valério Pinheiro. 3-1. In the 73rd minute, João Adolfo Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Pinheiro having to make a save. Valério Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Décio Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tubarão ManagerZone Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valério Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gionel FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
